Applications for Polished Cement Flooring
There are never ending applications for polished cement flooring. We service customers with four levels of finish/shine to suit their needs.
Level 1 – Soft Matte Finish
A Level 1 polished concrete floor has a soft matte finish that appears hazy with minimal clarity or reflection. This finish is suitable for areas where a less reflective surface is desired, such as industrial spaces or warehouses.
Level 2 – Low Sheen Finish
A Level 2 polished concrete floor has a low luster sheen that is the most popular finish for polished concrete floors. At a distance of about 100 feet, you can start to see slight overhead reflection, adding a subtle shine to any space.
Level 3 – Medium Gloss Finish
A Level 3 polished concrete floor has a medium gloss finish that is popular in areas where a glossy finish is desired, such as restaurants, breweries, or retail spaces. This polish produces a gloss on the floor that will clearly reflect objects, and there will be good light reflectivity. At a distance of about 30-50 feet, the floor will clearly reflect light.
Level 4 – High Gloss Finish
A Level 4 polished concrete floor has the highest level of shine, similar to glass, with high light reflectivity. The floor almost appears wet from many vantage points. This finish is perfect for areas where a high-end, luxurious look is desired, such as in high-end retail stores, galleries, or museums.
